Following his retirement, Dr Newton played an active role in the Institute that bears his name. His wisdom and guidance ensured that the organization became leaders in the field of Life Between Lives Hypnotherapy. Michael passed in September 2016 and the members of The Newton Institute now continue the work that he started.

Peter has been President of our organisation since 2009 and an LBL Trainer since 2008. He based in Melbourne, Australia.
He regularly represents us in interviews, documentaries and presents at various conferences. He is well known educator in the Hypnotherapy field and is a researcher and author in the bridging of science and spirituality. Peter’s previous background is as an executive in the Banking and Finance Industry and a consultant in organisational and cultural change. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Management from one of Australia’s leading business schools.
Ann ClarkBoard Member, Director of Research
Ann holds a PhD from the University of Chicago and has been TNI Research Director since 2014. She is based in Birmingham, AL, USA and is the owner of Wisdom for Wellness (LBL practice). Previously she was a University faculty member, Director of a Nursing Research Center, and a Research Scientist in several other University Research Centers. Paul Aurand is a dynamic educator, award winning Master Hypnotherapist and Hypnotherapy Instructor who has worked in the field for over 35 years. He has been honored as “Educator of the Year” “Therapist of the Year” and “Hypnotherapist of the Year.”

Joanne SelinskeBoard Member
Joanne has held executive leadership positions in social welfare agencies serving domestic and international clientele. She has extensive experience in organization and fund development including serving on more than a dozen different nonprofit and governmental boards. She holds postgraduate qualifications in transpersonal counseling, metaphysics and marriage and family counseling. She is the author of numerous publications in social welfare. Since 2008, Joanne has run her own spiritual center in the Washington D.C. – Baltimore metropolitan region. She currently serves on TNI’s Research Committee, and is leading TNI’s World Conference Planning Committee and the Project Team marketing TNI’s new research journal Stories of the Afterlife.Contact Joanne
Marilyn HargreavesBoard Member
Marilyn has 30 years of experience in the Canadian Federal Government, holds a Bachelor of Science in biology, and has experience in biological research, strategic planning, leadership, organization design and management at the executive level. She has practiced herbalism and holistic healing for the past 20 years, exploring various natural healing approaches that balance metaphysics and science. In 2008, Marilyn established a clinical healing practice focused on the integration of physical, emotional and emotional healing and incorporates hypnotherapy and Life Between Lives in her healing approach.
